Kristina Markosova,





Kristina is an associate in the Employment Law practice group. She advises public and private companies on employment issues, including compliance with federal and state anti-discrimination and harassment laws, wage/hour compliance, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act, the National Labor Relations Act, unfair competition, and trade secrets laws. She regularly drafts and reviews employment policies and other employment-related documents.

Kristina’s trial experience includes representing clients in disputes involving discrimination, retaliation, workplace health and safety, and wage and hour issues.

Prior to joining the Riddell Williams, Kristina spent a year interning for the in-house legal team at Walgreen Co. She has also worked as a judicial extern for Judge Thomas S. Zilly in Federal District Court. Kristina was a summer associate at Riddell Williams in 2013.

Before applying to law school, Kristina interned for U.S. Senators Edward Kennedy and John Kerry in their Boston offices. Kristina worked in the Casework Division of both offices, which involved working with, and on behalf of, Massachusetts constituents to resolve issues with various federal offices and agencies.


Kristina is fluent in Russian and proficient in Spanish. While not practicing law, Kristina enjoys traveling, running, dining out, and exploring Seattle with her black lab Kevin.

Kristina serves on the planning committee for the annual Pacific Coast Labor and Employment Law Conference.


Kristina also serves as a Trustee on the Board of the Young Lawyers’ Division of the KCBA.

Kristina received her B.A. in Economics and International Relations, cum laude, from Boston University.  She received her J.D. from Seattle University in May 2014, magna cum laude.
