Erin Joyce Letey Elected Chair of the Business Law Section of the WSBA


Erin Joyce Letey was elected as the Chair of the Business Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) on May 18, 2012. Erin has previously served in various positions within the WSBA Business Law Section, including Treasurer and Recorder.

Erin is a member of the Corporate Transactions and Finance practice group. Her practice includes assisting business owners and senior executives with major corporate initiatives and transactions, from business formation through sale. She has significant experience providing publicly traded and privately held businesses with advice and structuring assistance in a variety of critical corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of securities, 1934 Exchange Act reporting, corporate governance and contract drafting and negotiation.

Erin is also active in the community, serving as a director of the Seattle Aquarium and as the past-president of Washington Attorneys Assisting Community Organizations. Erin received her B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Oregon in 1996 and her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School in June, 2000.
