Two Experienced Associates Join the Riddell Williams Environmental Practice Group
Emerson Hilton and Jay Willis, two experienced associates, have joined Riddell Williams.
Emerson Hilton joins the Environmental practice group with over four years of experience. He focuses his practice on environmental, energy, and natural resources law. Prior to joining Riddell Williams, Emerson was a partner at a boutique environmental, energy, and land use law firm in Michigan. He represented numerous clients in litigation before federal, state, and tribal courts, as well as state administrative agencies.
Emerson received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, and received a B.A., with distinction, from Yale University.
Jay Willis joins the Environmental practice group as an experienced associate. He focuses his practice on federal environmental compliance and litigation, including representation of clients in multiparty allocation and cost recovery actions under CERLCA. Prior to joining Riddell Williams, Jay was an associate at K&L Gates in Washington, DC, where his practice focused on administrative enforcement, litigation, and public policy matters.
Jay received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and received a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, with High Honors and High Distinction.
